Thomas F. Kelly - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, MontaVista Software Inc.
Tom is a veteran in the technology industry, with more than 26 years' experience working in numerous executive leadership roles from software start-ups to billion dollar technology companies. As CEO of BlueStar Solutions, Tom saw the company to a successful acquisition by Affiliated Computer Services, a $4.5B IT and business process services company.  Prior to that, he led Blaze Software to a successful IPO and its subsequent acquisition by Brokat Information Systems AG. From 1996-1998, Tom served in the office of the president and as chief operating officer for Cirrus Logic, a $1 billion diversified semiconductor company.  Prior to Cirrus Logic, he held executive roles at Frame Technology Corporation.  Tom also served as chief financial officer at Cadence Design Systems.  He currently is a member of the board of directors for Epicor Software, FEI Company and SendMail, Inc. Tom earned a Bachelor's degree in economics from Santa Clara University.

James Ready - Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering, MontaVista Software Inc.
MontaVista CTO Jim Ready is a recognized authority in the embedded systems and real-time software industry, with over 25 years technical and entrepreneurial experience. Co-founder of Ready Systems, he pioneered the development of the first viable commercial RTOS product, the VRTX real-time kernel. Ready Systems, founded in 1980, merged with Microtec Research in 1993, went public in 1994, and was acquired by Mentor Graphics in 1995. During this period Jim served as Ready Systems' President, and as CTO at Microtec/Mentor. Jim founded MontaVista in 1999 to bring the Linux operating system to embedded systems market, and indeed to bring MontaVista embedded expertise to the open source Linux community.

John Shoch - Partner, Alloy Ventures Incorporated
Dr. Shoch has been a venture capitalist since 1985 and has funded numerous successful companies including Ready Systems, Remedy, Portola (sold to Netscape), and Verity. Previously Dr. Shoch was with Xerox Corporation where he held both senior management and research positions. Dr. Shoch is acknowledged as a significant contributor to the development of Ethernet technology, internetworking protocols, and distributed computing.

Steven M. Krausz - General Partner, U.S. Venture Partners
Steve Krausz has focused his career on partnering and mentoring early stage companies in communications, Internet Infrastructure, Networking, and enterprise software. He joined U.S. Venture Partners in 1985, and has been involved with their investments in numerous ventures including Checkpoint Software, Harmonic Lightwaves, and Stratacom. He serves on the boards of Force 10 Networks, Agility Communications, Vontu, Kasenna, Pathfire, Imperva, Performance Retail, Object Reservoir, Notiva, Xponent, Synfora, and Sierra Monolithics. Krausz is a former executive board member of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a M.B.A. from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Stuart Phillips
Stuart Phillips was previously a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners. Prior to USVP, Phillips was Vice-President of Central Engineering at Cisco, where he was responsible for the strategy and development of IOS, providing end-to-end services across Cisco's extensive product line. He has over 18 years experience in product development with Tandem Computers, Logica and ICL. He currently serves on the boards of @Road, Actelis Networks, DoubleWide Software, Force10 Networks, Intransa, LuxN, MontaVista Software, and Procket Networks. Phillips also held board positions with Netsys Technologies and Ardent Communications and was a founding board member of the Wireless Information Forum (WINForum). He received a B.S. in Electronics at the University of Wales at Cardiff, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Bob Bond
Bob retired in 1998 as COO of Rational Software Corporation, an industry leading provider of enterprise and embedded development tools. During his 15 year tenure Rational grew to over $300 million in sales. Prior to Rational, Bob spent over 15 years at Hewlett Packard where his responsibilities spanned Marketing through Division Management. Since Rational, he has been consulting with technology companies in the areas of business strategy, marketing, sales management, and operations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of KLA-Tencor Corporation, Clarus Systems (privately held) and DecisionPoint Applications (privately held). He has a B.S. in Engineering from Case Institute of Technology.

Peter F. Pervere
Peter was Senior VP and CFO at Commerce One, an enterprise e-commerce business. During his 5 year tenure Commerce One grew from less than $2 million to more than $400 million in sales. Prior to Commerce One Peter was Vice President and Corporate Controller of Sybase, an enterprise database software business. During his 10 year tenure Sybase grew from less than $20 million to more than $900 million in sales. Prior to Sybase Peter was at Arthur Young and Company. Peter currently serves on the Boards of two other technology companies, Digital Impact and Intraware. He also serves on the Boards at Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Piedmont Lacrosse Association. Peter has a B.A. in History from Stanford University.
